Charlotte: Live at the Level of Your Calling
CLT Monthly Event Recap: Exploring Identity Through Intimacy With God
June 21, 2018
Matthew Fleming, current State Director of NC-C3, intercessor and consultant shared a powerful message of identity. He shared how vision, timing, purpose, the path we are on are each indicators of our calling. Yet, perhaps most importantly, Matthew emphasized how to sustain a life lived at “calling level.”
Here are a few takeaways to pray into:
- The blueprints of your identity and destiny are coded in your DNA.
- The resources and tools God has made available to you (intimacy with God in prayer, gifting, assignment, etc.) glorify God and are untouchable by the enemy.
- The timing of the unified Body for Kingdom advancement is NOW.
Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?

Charlotte: Developing Kingdom Culture
CLT Monthly Event Recap: Kingdom Class
April 19, 2018
We had a truly blessed time in our conversation about Developing Kingdom Culture with Steve Casbon (Ambassador’s Development Group). Steve introduced our group to Kingdom Class business and the excellence standard. He emphasized that excellence does not have to be a lofty goal for believers in the marketplace. Rather, in the Kingdom, “excellence is the standard we refuse to go below.”
Here are a few takeaways we’d like to share:
- In Kingdom Class, excellence means going beyond what is common, usual, or expected.
- Be aware of the enemies of excellence: lack of commitment, lack of accountability, and no sense of urgency.
- To continually be at a standard of excellence, never under-promise and over-deliver. Instead, authentically promise and exceed expectations.
YMCA Prayer Breakfast, Charlotte
YMCA Prayer Breakfast Event Recap
April 18, 2018
NC-C3 hosted a full table at the Charlotte YMCA prayer breakfast. There were over 2000 people in attendance. In that, it was a powerful gathering of believers who prayed, worshiped, confessed, and learned together.
We are so thankful for the YMCA and For Charlotte leadership who put together a prayer guide for each attendee. They are encouraging believers to pray about the focus areas identified in the State of the City Report. We firmly believe that if each focus area is covered in prayer for 2018, 2019’s prayer breakfast will be full of miraculous testimony and examples of God’s mighty work of restoration. Check out the focus areas here: https://forcharlotte.org/resources/focus-area.
Raleigh: Interest Meeting
Raleigh Interest Meeting Event Recap: A Capital Chapter?
April 17, 2018
There was something distinct, something special about the interest meeting in Raleigh, our State Capital. In addition to being introduced to many of the city champions, we discovered some of the unique needs of Raleigh. We also were humbled to experience the hearts of local leadership. Their yearning for God’s great work was a timely testimony to us. In that, we are pleased to say we will be pursuing next steps to launch a Raleigh (Triangle) chapter!
Thank you to Doing Good at Work, Christ@Work (FCCI), Hipp Engineering, and Carroll’s Kitchen for your support.
Charlotte: The State of the City
CLT Monthly Event Recap: City Transformation
March 22, 2018
We were honored to host Rob Kelly of For Charlotte Mission Network who painted a real and impactful picture of the documented needs in Charlotte. In a city with needs and division, the only solution is Jesus. In fact, at the meeting Rob said, “The gospel spreads at the speed of relationship.” Our NC-C3 team could not agree more!
If you live or work in Charlotte, some of the city’s needs may be invisible to you. We know that taking an honest look at the poverty and pain all around us can be tough. But, as believers, we are called to transform the whole world…! Transformation can start today when we come together and take action.

Charlotte: Discovering the Kingdom
CLT Monthly Event Recap: Launching the Kingdom Conversation
January 25, 2018
Our 2018 kick-off meeting was a wonderful, open discussion about discovering and experiencing the Kingdom. Believers from multiple sectors shared their trials, triumphs, and testimonies of the Kingdom. Here are a few take-aways we’d like to share:
- Seeking the Kingdom first is everything. If we build an altar to God, He will build our business.
- Allowing God’s fermentation to happen means moving beyond an instant gratification mindset.
- Authentically engaging like-mindedcommunity is key to keeping the proper balance between giving and receiving.
